Running MongoDB on Premise:
Best Practices for Ops Manager and Kubernetes
Matan Zohar - Senior Solution Architect - MongoDB
In this session, you'll learn the best practices for running Ops Manager at high scale and with high availability, including how to take advantage of Kubernetes to provide an extra layer of resilience, automation and simplification by leveraging our Operator to deploy Ops Manager across multiple geographically separated Kubernetes clusters.
Atlas Stream Processing brings real-time analytics natively into MongoDB Atlas, unifying data in motion with data at rest through the familiar document model and aggregation framework. In this session, we’ll explore how continuous pipelines enable transformation, enrichment, and analysis of high-velocity streams at scale, while simplifying architectures and reducing operational complexity. With examples ranging from predictive maintenance in industrial plants to anomaly detection in IT monitoring, you’ll see how Atlas Stream Processing supports advanced features like windowing, continuous merge, and schema validation, and how it empowers developers to build real-time and AI-ready applications without leaving the Atlas platform.
Building Scalable Customer-Facing GenAI Applications in Hybrid Environments
Nir Sela, Director of Customer Success - Iguazio (a McKinsey Company)
If you're working on deploying GenAI agents in live business environments, you're probably face challenges such as AI hallucinations, handling sensitive data, dealing with compliance, managing escalating costs and the complexities of delivering hyper-personalized, real-time interactions at scale. Working in a hybrid environment introduces a host of other operational challenges. In this session, Nir Sela, Director of Customer Success at Iguazio (a McKinsey company), will unpack how MongoDB and Iguazio together provide an end-to-end solution that addresses the challenges of operationalizing (gen) AI, including leveraging built-in guardrails, governance, and monitoring. Nir will demonstrate Iguazio’s open source production-ready AI orchestration framework and show how it streamlines the full AI lifecycle— data management, development, deployment and management in production. The session will include a live demo of a customer-facing Gen AI agent, which adapts dynamically to each customer, conversing in a different tone of voice depending on the context. Join us to learn how leading organizations are already leveraging these LLMOps best practices and technologies to increase sales, reduce call center handling times, and scale AI across the enterprise in a cost-effective way.
MongoDB is a powerful general-purpose database with many advanced features to boost performance (e.g., sharding, dedicated search/analytics nodes, schema design patterns). However, in this talk, we will be focusing on back-to-basics fundamentals—simple but often overlooked techniques that can greatly improve application and workload performance. We will cover key performance topics including document size, document structure and hierarchy, indexing, and denormalization and data duplication. The takeaways from this session can be applied to all MongoDB editions and versions
